IT TIME TO OFFER YOUR HELP?
It isn't about saving the world . . . it's about remembering and cherishing vulnerable seniors and individuals with disabilities in our community. It's remembering that they need a well-balanced meal each day, a caring visit and a check on their well-being. It's knowing that birthdays are always important at any age and that a kind word of encouragement can make a big difference as the day stretches into evening.
Seniors are the custodians
of the finest elements of civilization . . . they are our guides, mentors,
models and critics. It is important, therefore, that we care for and protect
our richest natural resource. Those who know the meaning of community
from a different age have much to teach those who follow and now rely
on a sense of community for survival.
