COVID-19 update: Fall prevention services (environmental assessment, medication review, exercise, education) are currently being delivered virtually (via Zoom, FaceTime, GrandPad; or outside visits) and we are coordinating minor home modifications for those who qualify.

About the Program
This is one of the few fall prevention programs nationwide that can come help you in your home- where most falls happen!
Falls very often lead to institutionalization and complex health problems or dependence on others. Our program helps you with a strength and balancing routine that fits you. We can also do a home safety check with you, provide minor home modifications and a medication review for possible drug interactions which are a significant risk factor in falls.
This program is partially funded by Area Agency on Aging; Alameda County District 2 Supervisor Richard Valle Measure A fund; and generous individuals, organizations, and businesses in the community.
Check out Vital Link medical alert systems. This company is sincerely nice, affordable, and very responsive. LIFE ElderCare can help you prevent falls, but if you want a personal alarm system just in case – give them a call.
